Turn a PowerPoint deck into a PDF
"Convert PowerPoint to PDF" takes a PowerPoint (.pptx) presentation and renders it to a PDF — one page per slide — so anyone can open it without PowerPoint, and so it prints and shares cleanly. The conversion runs on our own servers with LibreOffice, so your deck is never sent to a third-party conversion service, and the result stays private to your workspace.
Send a deck to a client, attach slides to an email, or hand out a printable version without worrying about whether the recipient has PowerPoint or the right fonts.
How to use it
- Upload a PowerPoint file. Sign in, then choose a
.pptxfile up to 20MB. - Convert. Press convert. Each slide is rendered to a PDF page on our servers, usually within a minute.
- Download the PDF. Share or print it. The run is saved to your history for re-download while it lasts.
What the PDF preserves
Converting slides to PDF is a rendering step: the layout engine draws each slide exactly as designed and captures it as a page. Text, images, shapes, colors, and slide backgrounds are preserved. Our servers ship with Japanese (and other CJK) fonts, so Japanese decks render without tofu (□) or missing characters.
Animations, transitions, embedded video, and presenter notes are not part of a static PDF — the PDF captures the final visual state of each slide.
When to send a PDF instead of the .pptx
| Send the PowerPoint (.pptx) | Send a PDF |
|---|---|
| The recipient needs to edit or present it | It is a final version to read or print |
| You are collaborating on the deck | You are attaching it to an email |
| Animations matter | You want it to open anywhere, identically |
Limitations
.pptxonly in this version (older.pptis not accepted).- Animations, transitions, and embedded media are flattened to each slide's final look.
- Uncommon or non-embedded fonts are substituted with the closest available font.
- 20MB per file, one file at a time.
Privacy
Your presentation is uploaded to your own private workspace, converted inside our infrastructure, and never placed on a public URL or handed to an external API. The uploaded file and the resulting PDF are short-lived — an automatic rule deletes them after a few hours, so download your result promptly.
