Turn a Word document into a shareable PDF
"Convert Word to PDF" takes a Word (.docx) file and produces a clean PDF that looks the same on every device — ideal for sending a final version that the recipient should read but not edit. The conversion runs on our own servers with LibreOffice, so your document is never sent to a third-party conversion service, and the result stays private to your workspace.
Word files render differently depending on the reader's fonts and app version. A PDF freezes the layout, so what you send is exactly what they see.
How to use it
- Upload a Word file. Sign in, then choose a
.docxfile up to 20MB. - Convert. Press convert. The document is rendered to PDF on our servers, usually within a minute.
- Download the PDF. Share it by email, attach it to a quote, or print it. The run is saved to your history for re-download while it lasts.
Why the result stays faithful
Going from Word to PDF is a rendering step, not a re-interpretation: the layout engine draws the document and captures the pages. Fonts, spacing, headers, tables, and page breaks are preserved. Our servers ship with Japanese (and other CJK) fonts installed, so Japanese documents render without tofu (□) or missing characters.

Limitations
.docxonly in this version (older.docis not accepted).- Uncommon or non-embedded fonts are substituted with the closest available font, which can shift spacing slightly.

Privacy
Your Word file is uploaded to your own private workspace, converted inside our infrastructure, and never placed on a public URL or handed to an external API. The uploaded file and the resulting PDF are short-lived — an automatic rule deletes them after a few hours, so download your result promptly.

- 2 credits per conversion. A flat tool fee; no external conversion cost is passed on.
- Usable on the free plan. The free plan includes 200 credits per month — roughly 100 conversions.
