What is this PDF image replace tool?
A free, browser-based tool that swaps an image already inside a PDF for a new one — keeping the same position and size. It detects the images placed on each page, lets you pick one, and draws your replacement in its place. Nothing to install, no sign-up, and because everything runs locally in your browser, your file is never uploaded to a server.
How to replace an image in a PDF
- Upload your PDF by dragging it in or clicking the upload area. The tool scans each page for embedded images.
- Pick the image you want to replace from the detected list (or, if none are detected, choose a target page, position, and size).
- Upload the new image (JPG, PNG, or WebP) and press “Replace & download” to get the updated PDF.
Common use cases
- Updating an old logo or brand image in a finished PDF without rebuilding the document.
- Swapping a photo, screenshot, or chart for a corrected version.
- Replacing a placeholder image with the final asset before sharing.
