What is this PDF split tool?
A free, browser-based tool that splits a single PDF into two separate files at the page you choose. There's nothing to install and no sign-up — and because everything runs locally in your browser, your file is never uploaded to a server.
How to split a PDF
- Upload your PDF by dragging it in or clicking the upload area.
- Pick the split point: click the divider between two pages in the preview, or type a page number in the control panel.
- Press “Split & download” to get two PDFs — the pages before and after the split.
Common use cases
- Extracting a specific section (e.g. an appendix or a single chapter) from a long document.
- Separating a scanned batch of documents into individual files.
- Sharing only part of a PDF without sending the whole file.
