What is this CPA / CPL calculator?
A free, browser-based calculator that turns spend, conversions, and leads into your two core acquisition costs: CPA (cost per acquisition) and CPL (cost per lead). Enter one set of totals for a quick answer, or switch on channel split to enter each channel separately and see CPA/CPL per channel plus a blended CPA/CPL across your whole mix. Each result shows the exact formula, and everything runs locally in your browser, so your numbers are never uploaded.
The formulas
- CPA = Spend ÷ Conversions (cost per acquired customer or sale).
- CPL = Spend ÷ Leads (cost per acquired lead).
- Blended CPA = Σ Spend ÷ Σ Conversions across all channels.
- Blended CPL = Σ Spend ÷ Σ Leads across all channels.
How to use it
- Enter total spend, plus conversions and/or leads on the left.
- Read CPA and CPL on the right — each shows the formula used.
- Turn on “Split by channel” to add per-channel rows and see a blended CPA/CPL.
