What is this thread splitter?
A free, browser-based tool that breaks a long text into a thread of posts that each fit the 280-character limit on X and Threads. Instead of counting characters by hand and cutting sentences in the wrong place, paste your draft and get clean, ready-to-post parts — optionally numbered '1/n'. Everything runs locally in your browser, so your text is never uploaded.
How to use it
- Paste your long text into the box on the left.
- Choose whether to add '1/n' numbering to each post.
- Copy each part individually, or use 'Copy all' to grab the whole thread.
Common use cases
- Turning a blog post or announcement into an X / Threads thread.
- Posting a long update without it being silently truncated.
