What is this receipt generator?
A free, browser-based tool to create a clean receipt (領収書). Fill in the payer (宛名), amount, purpose (但し書き), date, and issuer, and a live preview appears instantly. A single amount is usually enough, but you can turn on a breakdown to add line items with automatic subtotal, tax, and total. When the amount reaches 50,000 yen, the tool reminds you that a Japanese revenue stamp (収入印紙) may be required. Export to PDF with your browser's “Save as PDF”, or save/load your work as JSON. It ships with three templates and remembers your issuer block on your device. Everything runs locally, so your data is never uploaded.
How to create a receipt
- Pick a template and enter the receipt number and date.
- Enter the payer (宛名), the amount, and the purpose (但し書き, default “for goods”).
- Optionally turn on the breakdown to add line items; subtotal, tax, and total compute automatically.
- Fill in your issuer block (remembered for next time), then press “Save / print PDF” to export.
